This program is not suitable for patients with very fine or light-coloured hair (blonde, golden, or
grey) as laser technology cannot effectively target low-melanin hair. It is also not suitable for
patients who are currently tanned — active tan increases the risk of complications, and
treatment must wait until the tan has fully faded. Whether you are a suitable candidate will be

No. You can resume all normal activities immediately after your session. Some patients
experience mild redness for a few hours, but this resolves quickly. There is no recovery period.
Yes, for most patients. However, if you have significant facial hair (hirsutism), we may recommend hormone blood tests before starting to understand and address the root cause. Treating the surface without addressing hormonal drivers may limit long-term results. We’ll guide you through this at your consultation.
Laser hair reduction permanently changes three things: hair density, thickness, and the frequency of regrowth. Once your hair reaches an optimal point — finer, sparser, and growing far less frequently — that result is permanent. Most patients find that areas with thick, dark hair (underarms, lower legs) respond exceptionally well and need little to no maintenance. Areas with finer hair (arms, for example) may require occasional maintenance sessions — but these are timed to your actual hair growth cycle, not a fixed monthly schedule. If your hair grows back once every three months, your maintenance session is once every three months. This is not a monthly commitment — it follows your hair, not a calendar.
